  • 1981

    Metallurgical High Vacuum Corporation (MHV) is founded by Geoff Humberstone in Holland, Michigan as a consulting business.

  • 1985

    The business expands, moving to a 5,000 square foot facility in Douglas, MI. Repair/remanufacturing of vacuum pumps, diffusion pumps, booster pumps, blowers, and auxiliary vacuum equipment is added to the service portfolio.

  • 1996

    The business outgrows the Douglas facility and a modern fully climate-controlled 16,000 square foot plant is constructed on a 17-acre site near Fennville, Michigan.

  • 1998

    As the business continues to expand, an additional 1,800 square foot building is constructed for warehousing cores.

  • 2003

    MHV manufactures its first OEM Pump. And yes, it is still in service in 2019.

  • 2006

    As the business continues to grow, a 2,400 square foot engineering and business office space for 3D product design and other engineering services is added to the manufacturing plant.

  • 2013

    An additional 2560 square foot storage building is constructed to house finished product and service vehicles.

  • 2019

    Due to business growth, MHV constructs a 12,800 sqare foot addition to the main building, bringing total facility space to 35,560 square feet.

  • Today

    MHV's business spans the North American Continent, serving customers coast-to-coast, as well as from Canada and Latin America.
