Metallurgical High Vacuum Corporation (MHV) is founded by Geoff Humberstone in Holland, Michigan as a consulting business.
The business expands, moving to a 5,000 square foot facility in Douglas, MI. Repair/remanufacturing of vacuum pumps, diffusion pumps, booster pumps, blowers, and auxiliary vacuum equipment is added to the service portfolio.
The business outgrows the Douglas facility and a modern fully climate-controlled 16,000 square foot plant is constructed on a 17-acre site near Fennville, Michigan.
As the business continues to expand, an additional 1,800 square foot building is constructed for warehousing cores.
MHV manufactures its first OEM Pump. And yes, it is still in service in 2019.
As the business continues to grow, a 2,400 square foot engineering and business office space for 3D product design and other engineering services is added to the manufacturing plant.
An additional 2560 square foot storage building is constructed to house finished product and service vehicles.
Due to business growth, MHV constructs a 12,800 sqare foot addition to the main building, bringing total facility space to 35,560 square feet.
MHV's business spans the North American Continent, serving customers coast-to-coast, as well as from Canada and Latin America.
