Our inventory includes hinge bars for stokes 412, 212, and 146/148, stokes pumps in oversizes up to 5/8 inch over the standard 3.5 inch hinge bar bore.
These are all machined from SAE/ AISI 4150 chrome alloy steel heat treated to Rockwell 28-32. We offer Stokes 412 hinge bar spacers to match oversized hinge bars.
We have complete CNC turning and milling along with conventional OD, ID, and surface grinding.

Many aftermarket parts do not use heat treated alloy steel; parts with only a mild steel composition, especially in the case of main shafts, can shear with disastrous consequences. At MHV we test for hardness and foundry alloy composition; it’s standard practice because it’s best practice, and that’s all we do.
We can provide pre-packaged parts for clapper and poppet valves including gaskets for Stokes 146, 148, 149, 212, 412J & H, and 912 vacuum pumps.
